Hi Howard-

I'm the new owner of "City Bird" (preveously "Astarte" of Annapolis Md.).

She is currently on the hard in Deltaville Va. undergoing some basic retrofits and will eventually live in Norfolk Va. (June/July '01 hopefully).

She is hull 113 a Ketch rig built in 1979 by a yard I'm not familiar with. The full hull number is CYKSW113LMKII .

The boat was apparently built without many options based on the PS reviews I've read, ie no shower in the cockpit, short lifeline stantions (24"),no emergency tiller, and aluminum (instead of bronze) opening ports.

She is plagued with the usual leaks along the hull/deck joint, as well as bad engineering of the two hause pipes fitted on the foredeck.

She does however sail like a dream. I had a glorious sail down the bay in 20+ knots of breeze in early March....can't wait to get offshore!

Later..
